Stronger Bones.
Better Movement.
Better Life.
Expert physio-led exercise programmes for Osteoporosis and Osteopenia — designed to build bone density, reduce fracture risk, and keep you strong and independent.
What Is Osteoporosis & Osteopenia?
Osteoporosis is a condition where bones become weak and brittle, increasing the risk of fractures. Osteopenia is an earlier stage where bone density is lower than normal but not yet classified as osteoporosis. Both conditions are common — particularly in women after menopause — but they are not inevitable, and they are highly treatable.
The good news is that the right kind of exercise, guided by a chartered physiotherapist, is one of the most powerful tools available to slow bone loss, improve balance, and significantly reduce your risk of falls and fractures.

How We Help
A comprehensive, physio-led programme designed specifically around your bone health — from detailed assessment through to ongoing 1:1 strength training and progress tracking.
Detailed Specific Assessment
We take a number of measurements specifically related to bone and musculoskeletal health, giving us a precise, personalised baseline to build your programme from.
Body Composition Testing — BIA
We measure Bone Mass (%), Muscle Mass (%) and Metabolic Age using Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) — fast, non-invasive, and tracked at every session so you can see real progress over time.
DEXA Scan Interpretation & Planning
The gold standard for measuring bone density is a DEXA scan. We help you understand your results and put a clear, evidence-based plan in place to help you improve your bone density over time.
1:1 Strength & Conditioning with a Chartered Physiotherapist
One of the most important aspects of good bone health is strength training. We guide you through every session, developing a personalised programme that is safe, effective, and something you can build easily into your everyday life.

Common Questions
Yes. Yes — and it is one of the most important things you can do. The key is having the right type of exercise, prescribed and supervised by a chartered physiotherapist who understands your condition. We design programmes specifically for people with osteoporosis, avoiding movements that increase fracture risk while maximising the bone-building benefits of exercise.
Osteopenia refers to lower than normal bone density, while osteoporosis is a more advanced condition where bones have become significantly weakened and fragile. Both are diagnosed using a DEXA scan. Osteopenia does not always progress to osteoporosis, especially with the right exercise and lifestyle interventions — which is why early action is so important.
No referral is required. If you have already had a DEXA scan, please bring your results as they are extremely helpful in designing your programme. If you haven’t had one, we can advise you on how to get one through your GP and can work with you in the meantime using our own body composition analysis.
Improvements in strength, balance, and confidence can be felt within weeks. Measurable changes in bone density typically take 6–12 months of consistent exercise, and are confirmed by a follow-up DEXA scan. We track your muscle mass and body composition throughout so you can see progress at every stage.
This is one of the most common concerns we hear — and it’s completely understandable. Our physiotherapists are specifically trained in safe exercise prescription for osteoporosis. We avoid high-risk movements such as forward spinal flexion, and focus instead on exercises that are both safe and highly effective for building bone and improving balance.
